About Aiken Dumpster Rental Guys

Locally owned, 10 years in, and holding the Aiken County disposal permit that keeps your debris local.

Aiken Dumpster Rental Guys container on an Aiken County driveway

How this started

Wade Coburn spent more than a decade working construction and hauling across the CSRA before buying a single truck and one container in 2016. The reason was straightforward: he had spent years waiting on containers that turned up late, turned up in the wrong size, or turned up with a price that changed once the load crossed a scale - and watching out-of-county haulers struggle with disposal that a permitted local operator handles as a matter of course.

Ten years on we run a fleet across Aiken, Aiken County and the surrounding CSRA, and the operating principle has not moved. Tell people the truth about what they need, protect the property, and charge the number that was quoted.

What we actually do differently

We are permitted and local. Aiken County restricts its landfills to county-generated waste, requires proof of residency, and requires commercial haulers to hold a permit. We hold it, so your debris goes to the county C&D landfill properly and locally on every load - something an out-of-county hauler cannot do here at all.

We recommend smaller containers. This one surprises people. Dense material - tile, mortar, masonry, fill - reaches a container's tonnage allowance while it still looks half empty. Recommending the 15 yard instead of the 20, or a dedicated 10 for the fill, costs us revenue and saves the customer money. We do it anyway.

We know horse country. Aiken is Thoroughbred country, and equestrian property has its own quirks - large gated lots, long drives, barn and arena work, big estate clearances. We size for the real volume and place for the drive and the ground.

One number, secured loads. The flat rate covers delivery, seven days, collection, disposal at the county landfill and a stated tonnage allowance, with the overage rate quoted in the same breath. And every load leaves secured and covered for the haul. No fuel surcharge, no environmental fee appearing on an invoice for the first time.

Why local knowledge matters here

Aiken County is growing, which means the work splits two ways. New construction and newer-home remodels on the southside and toward North Augusta produce bulky, light debris that wants a larger container. Renovation of older homes around the historic downtown and the Horse Creek Valley mill villages gives up dense material that wants a smaller one. And the horse properties out east are their own category again.

Then there is the county and the city. Disposing under a proper permit keeps debris local and above-board; the city will not collect construction debris and charges double if you mix it into yard trash; construction debris now routes to the Barden Landfill in Graniteville; and the sandy sand-hills soil is lighter than clay but still heavy on a grading job. A company that works Aiken County every day knows all of it. We quote each job on what it actually is, and we will explain the difference if you want to hear it.

The people you will deal with

  • Wade Coburn — Founder & Owner. More than a decade in local construction and hauling before starting the company. Still takes sizing calls, particularly on anything involving concrete, fill, horse-property work or a tricky access.
  • Danielle Rhett — Operations Manager. Runs the schedule, the swaps and the contractor accounts, and knows which rural and estate roads a loaded truck can and cannot manage. If you need a same-day swap, she is the one who makes it happen.
  • Marcus Ellison — Lead Driver. Has been placing containers on Aiken driveways, estate drives and horse properties for years and sizes a load by eye better than most. If he says a 30 will not fit your lot, it will not fit.
  • Brooke Hartley — Customer Care Lead. First voice on the phone most mornings, and the person who will walk you through what can and cannot go in the container.
