Why we publish a page for every area

Because the answer genuinely changes from one part of the county to the next, and for reasons that have more to do with disposal and the housing than distance.

The most consequential is disposal. Every area we serve is in Aiken County, so our county permit covers it and your debris routes to the county landfill - construction debris to the Barden Landfill in Graniteville - the right way. Where a convenience center has stopped taking construction debris or yard waste, a container that consolidates the trip is the practical answer.

The second is the housing. The newer subdivisions on the southside and toward North Augusta give up bulky, light material that wants a larger container; the older downtown and mill-village homes give up dense debris that wants a smaller one; and the horse properties out east are a category of their own.

The rest is common to the whole county: the city curbside service that will not take construction debris and charges double if you mix it in, and the sandy fill that still needs its own box. Each area page below covers the access, the routing and what to expect on the ground.
